A tiny dust mote danced in the sunbeam. Mimi pounced on it with a twitch of her pink nose.

She scrambled after the speck behind the sofa. Her tail swished as she hunted for the invisible friend.

Under the rug, she found a crumpled paper ball. She batted it across the floor with a playful swipe.

The paper rolled into a pile of dry leaves. Crunching sounds echoed loudly in the quiet room.

A breeze blew through the window, lifting the paper into the air. It spun like a ghostly dancer.

Mimi chased it in circles on the smooth floor. Her short paws slipped, making the game dizzying.

The paper landed softly in a bowl of fresh cream. Mimi froze, her eyes wide with surprise.

A tiny orange whisker dipped into the pool. It created a perfect swirl in the thick white liquid.

Mimi licked the cream off her paw. A happy white mustache appeared on her face.

She blinked her big sparkling eyes. The room was quiet, warm, and perfectly still.

Content in the sunlit room, Mimi let out a gentle purr. The day slowed down to a happy rhythm.

The sunbeam moved slowly across the floor. Mimi closed her eyes, dreaming of dancing dust motes.
