Coralia kicked her fins and zoomed toward a shimmering silver bubble. She grabbed it — and it popped with a soft plip! A tiny splash landed on her chin. She giggled.

She looked up. Bright blue light danced just above the coral tops. She swam upward, her hair floating around her like a golden halo.

Green kelp tickled her shoulders. Anemones waved their tiny arms at her. She sang a loud happy song, and a school of silver fish darted through the notes!

A crab scuttled sideways across her path. Clack-clack! Its claws clicked. She stopped and tipped her head. The crab clicked again, as if telling her no.

She swam on. The water grew lighter. Soon she reached the surface — warm, winking, rippling like silk.

WHOOSH! A dolphin leapt past her ear and nudged her hand with its smooth nose. Her eyes went wide. 'Hello!' she thought.

The dolphin dipped below, leaving a trail of dancing bubbles. She smiled and followed them, her hair trailing behind like a ribbon.

She swam back to the reef, humming a new song — about the warm, winking water, and the dolphin's gentle nose.
