Buzzy turned his wheels and rolled out of the dusty garage. His engine purred a happy rumble.

He followed a blue butterfly along the sunlit road, his headlights blinking twice.

An acorn rolled past — Buzzy caught it between his wheels. He thought, This one smells like rain.

A farmer in a yellow tractor waved. Buzzy honked back. Ding-dong!

The road kept curving, leading toward a shimmering glint on the horizon.

Buzzy reached the edge of a wide, sparkling lake. There was no path across.

His headlights dimmed. Buzzy let out a low, sad growl.

A duck swam by — quack! A floating log drifted close to the shore.

Buzzy drove carefully onto the log. It carried him across the lake, bumpity-bump.

On the other side, Buzzy's engine revved with joy!

Wildflowers brushed against his bumpers like little high-fives.

Under a tall oak tree, Buzzy parked. Other cars waved from their driveways.
