In a beautiful little garden, a tiny golden butterfly fluttered past the young girl's nose.

It landed softly on her outstretched finger. Her mouth formed a wide O of wonder.

The butterfly's wings shimmered like a sunbeam in the garden air.

She tiptoed after it, arms held out like a tightrope walker.

The butterfly darted upward, brushing her hair before zipping toward the flower beds.

Near a bright red flower, another girl knelt and held it up. The butterfly hovered above it, then drifted toward a patch of clover.

The young girl gently set her hand on the clover and waited.

The butterfly circled once, twice, then swooped down and landed right on her fingertip again.

She whispered, "Hello."

Reya held the red flower close, its petals brushing the butterfly's golden wings.

They stood together, smiling at their new friend.

The garden glowed around them as the golden butterfly stayed on her finger.
