The room was quiet. Mom and Dad stood by the empty crib, looking at each other and squeezing hands.

At the clinic, a kind doctor opened a warm glowing jar. A tiny seed began to grow inside. Pip smiled back.

The seed grew into a tiny baby. Pip blinked up at Mom and Dad with a sleepy grin.

A soft blanket arrived at the door. Inside was a tiny baby with a nose twitch, blinking up at them.

"You're home," whispered Mom, brushing a finger across his cheek. Pip reached up and grabbed her nose.

Pip rested between Mom and Dad in the big soft bed. The house was warm and quiet.

Mom hummed a soft tune. Pip's ears wiggled, and he sighed in his sleep.

Everyone was home. The house felt like a hug.
