Mina calls her kittens to sit.
They tap their paws. Tap. Tap. Tap.
The empty food bowl sits on the floor.
Mina leads them to the windowsill.
She points to a small pot with a seed inside.
The kittens lean close. The seed does not move.
Mina curls around them. Seeds wait, she purrs.
The kittens press their noses to the glass. The sun warms the pot.
The food bowl clinks. Dinner is here.
The kittens sit still and eat.
Mina rests her chin on her paws.
The kittens lean against her, quiet and full. The seed in the pot waits.
