Milo digs in the sandbox. A tiny hedgehog wiggles its nose.
Milo looks down. He smiles at the little hedgehog.
Milo holds out his red shovel. The hedgehog sniffs it.
Sniff, sniff, sniff. The hedgehog takes the shovel.
The hedgehog digs. It finds a smooth blue pebble.
The hedgehog pushes the pebble toward Milo.
Milo picks it up. Cool and round. He laughs out loud.
They dig together. Thump, thump, thump. They do not stop.
