The boy tied his laces together and tripped. He tumbled into the glowing jungle grass.

He rolled to a stop. A fluffy white rabbit thumped both back feet and bumped its nose against his hand.

The rabbit's ears twitched toward a soft rustling sound.

A small blue butterfly with tiny round glasses landed on his knee. "I know the way. Follow me," it whispered.

The butterfly zipped through the ferns, leaving a trail of silver sparkles behind.

They crossed the stream where the water flowed upward. The boy laughed as droplets floated past his shoes.

The butterfly disappeared behind a curtain of glowing vines. The boy pushed through — the rabbit followed.

They tumbled into a shimmering clearing full of glowing flowers that hummed like tiny bells.

The boy lay back on the soft moss. The rabbit curled against his side.

A single glowing flower drifted down and landed on the rabbit's nose. The rabbit sneezed —

— and the flower burst into a shower of golden sparkles.

The boy looked at the rabbit, and the rabbit looked back. Everything glowed.
