Bumble kicked the red ball along the sunny flower path. The friendly dog raced after it. Thump-thump! Bark-bark!

Bumble rolled the red ball toward the little pond. It bumped a stone and zipped behind the garden gate. “Where did it go?”

Bumble and the dog peered through the flowers. No ball appeared—only buzzing bees and swaying petals.

Bumble searched under a bench while the dog sniffed beside the pond. Suddenly, the dog sneezed, and a duck flapped away. Bumble giggled.

Bumble spotted a red flash near the cozy garden. The ball rolled away, and Bumble and the dog dashed after it. “There it is!”

The ball slipped beneath a pile of leaves. Bumble and the dog pawed and nudged. Rustle, rustle!

Pop! The red ball sprang free and bounced into a watering can. Plunk! Bumble and the dog froze, then laughed.

Bumble lifted the dripping ball from the can. The dog shook water everywhere. “Race you back!”
